Asset information Management
Asset information Management (AIM) is the process of asset identification, bring asset into service, operations, inspection, maintenance & Repair Overhaul (modification) and De-commissioning (second life for installations, closing the loop for components and raw materials).
- Identification: business case, scope, identify (supplier / age / designed expectations, manuals, log), risk assessment & user requirements, and set up the information system.
- Inspection: condition and performance against design specifications.
- Operation: use of asset, performance, utilization
- De-commissioning: sustainability, re-use of parts, components, fluids, materials.

Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul
Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) is the process of set up and execute maintenance programs, monitor wear patterns and deviations and maximize asset availability. These processes include:
